Point of view

With this T4T tutorial, students analyze the settings, contexts, and values from which individuals consider the world. They develop an understanding of the importance of recognizing multiple ways of viewing ideas, things, or events; using strategies for considering different points of view; and applying these concepts in a variety of circumstances. This tutorial includes instructional suggestions for teachers (introducing point of view, identifying attributes of point of view, reinforcing the concept, applying the concept in everyday teaching, and assessing student understanding) and resources for students (introductory activities, data chart, student guide and self-assessment rubric).
