Reconciliation

In June 2015, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission released its 94 Calls to Action. Calls #62 and #63 specifically called upon governments to consult and collaborate with Survivors, Indigenous Peoples and Educators to provide curriculum resources to support learning about First Nations, the Inuit, and the Métis. The resources in this collection invite meaningful inquiry and reflective explorations that can help us better understand how we might decolonize teaching and learning as part of our responsibilities to reconciliation. This collection of resources includes fully-developed lessons for grade six and up, image sets, suggested resources, and reflection guides to support student thinking and learning about reconciliation. For more information on the Calls to Action related to education, please visit the Education for reconciliation site.
