What should all people in Canada understand about the Holodomor?

In this lesson, students examine collections of primary and secondary sources describing the causes, events, people, and places of the Holodomor and then use the criteria of historical significance to guide the selection of at least three aspects of or details about the Holodomor that should be known by everyone in Canada.
