Students first listen to a story in which the father of a young swan steals a trumpet to provide the voiceless swan with a way to communicate. After offering their preliminary opinions about the appropriateness, in unusual situations, of doing something "wrong," students explore the impacts of the action on each of the characters in the story. They then reassess their opinions.
