Identifying positive interactions

Students first create collages of pictures showing people interacting positively and share the collages with the class. Students then work in small groups to role-play positive interactions between community members, taking photographs of the demonstrations that the rest of the class will examine to identify the interaction shown. Finally, students select one action they could undertake to contribute to their classroom or school community.
