Students analyze different cartooning techniques. They select a cartoon to study; give examples of the relevant techniques found in the cartoon; and make inferences on why the cartoon draws attention to that particular feature. Students develop an understanding of the importance of specific cartooning techniques in delivering authors' messages and perspectives.
