Truth and Reconciliation
Resources to use throughout the year
We’re pleased to offer a number of resources that support reflection and action on Truth and Reconciliation. We encourage you to explore, share, and use these materials to deepen your learning and continue this vital work throughout the year in a range of grades and subject areas.

Developed collaboratively with Grand Erie District School Board, Six Nations of the Grand River, and the Mississaugas of the New Credit, this unit invites learners from grade six and up to make genuine commitments and meaningful actions toward reconciliation.

This guide supports ongoing reflection, learning, and leadership in truth and reconciliation. It provides monthly reflexive prompts, ideas, and resources for educators and families to continue this work throughout the year.

TC² is proud to collaborate with the Matawa Education and Care Centre (MECC) to develop educational materials that feature Indigenous perspectives and knowledge. Guided by community members, cultural workers, Knowledge Keepers, and Elders, this work connects critical thinking to the unique practices and ways of knowing from Matawa communities.

TC² collaborated with wildfire experts, Indigenous firekeepers, educators, and FireSmart BC to create curriculum-aligned lessons from K–12. These lessons center First Peoples’ perspectives and ways of knowing into learning about our relationships with the land and fire.
BC Hydro: Indigenous Perspectives on Water and Energy
