Q: Why was PayPal unable to process my credit card?

A: The most common reason that PayPal is unable to process credit cards is that the billing address entered into the PayPal system does not match the official records of the credit card company. Click here to view additional information provided by PayPal.

If you are using a credit card provided by your school district and have encountered a problem processing your payment through PayPal, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • the billing address on the credit card account does not match the one you entered into the PayPal system
  • your school district has blocked transactions made through PayPal
  • the transaction amount is above the purchase limit allowed on the card

If you believe that your credit card is valid and would like to try processing your payment through our office, contact us directly at 604-639-6325. We will be happy to try complete your order for you.

Benefits for Partners and Individual Members

Q: Do I automatically get access to the online resource collections if my district or school is a TC² Partner?

A: Yes. Employees of Partner groups who are logged in to their accounts receive free access to materials in the library of professional resources and the online resource collections. Partners and Individual Members also are entitled to receive a 20% discount on the purchase of our print resources.

Q: How can I find out if my school or district is a Partner?

A: Look for your school district or school on our list of current Partners

If your district or school is not a TC² Partner, you can obtain the benefits of partnership by becoming an Individual member. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Q: What is the difference between being a Partner and an Individual member?

A: Partners are educational organizations like schools and school districts who have joined TC². Partner organizations pay an annual fee that entitles all of their employees to these benefits.

Individual members are educators who have chosen on their own to enjoy the benefits available from TC2 such as free access to our three main online resource collections, discounts on all TC² resources and access to the library of professional resources. An individual membership is valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Q: How can a teacher candidate take advantage of resource discounts and other TC² benefits?

A: Create your own free account. Select "Teacher candidate" as your position, and provide your university email address OR your student ID number to confirm your status.

After you have received confirmation of your registration, purchase an Individual membership at the discounted price of $20.

You will receive an email indicating that your Individual membership has been activated. At that point teacher candidate discounts will automatically be applied to any additional purchases of TC² resources.

As well, you will be able to access free-of-charge our Professional library.
