• Create new resources for online learning: TC² would embrace the opportunity to partner with you to create new resources that you identify as necessary for your online learning strategy.
• Adapt our existing resources: If you have a request for lessons that you’d like to see converted to direct-to-student, ready-to-post materials, please let us know! Our existing collections include: Tools For Thought, Critical Challenges, History Docs, Picture Sets, print publications, or other parts of our website.
• French language support is available for the development of learning resources.

Ready-to-share parent materials

Parents and other significant adults in students’ lives have always played a crucial role in shaping young people’s abilities and approaches to thinking. What they learn from observing and interacting with the various adults in their lives undoubtedly influences the way students think about their school work and other decisions they make in their every day lives. The challenges and opportunities around supporting student thinking are more pronounced than ever and that is why we are pleased to provide new resources that directly support parents and guardians of students. These resources have been funded by the Superior Greenstone District School Board but generously made available freely to all educators. Everything you find here is true to our mission of supporting you in your efforts to create thinking learning environments and opportunities, wherever that learning is taking place.

As a principal, teacher or other leader in your district, you may want to attach one or two resources to a weekly communication you send out, provide the materials to the school council chair to distribute, or post these resources on your school or district website for community members to access or download.

We will be adding to this collection regularly so please check back and if you are interested in having us develop particular new resources or adapt existing ones, please contact us (see information above).

Parents are eager for ways to help their children be more independent and also support them in making good decisions when thinking, learning, and playing independently.
